Unfortunately, there is a rumor being circulated that the Council is closing. This is NOT TRUE! The Council is embarking on a new journey that will allow us to expand and increase our service delivery to our neighbors in need.

Beginning April 1, 2010, the Council will work in Collaboration with Richmond Community College. The ONLY change our students will see are new instructors. The Council will continue to manage our present location with the Community College providing our course instructors. The Council will also continue to work with the Senior Aides/title V Program to provide tutors to assist the Richmond Community College Instructors. Our agency will also maintain a presence as a Job Link partner and will also continue to act as a volunteer placement site for the Work First Program.
